Specification license

Since Microsoft now offers open-source C# and VB compilers, I think they should license the language specifications too to make it obvious that others can legally implement the languages. I propose using the Open Specification Promise for this.

They already have, have a look in the following locations.
VB.net C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Visual Studio 12.0\VB\Specifications\1033
C# C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Visual Studio 12.0\VC#\Specifications\1033

Not sure of the licence permits printing a copy though?

Lucian is there and updated version of these available?

Visual Basic is still not licensed.
