Can diagnostics fail a build in the preview?

It doesn't appear that custom diagnostics are able to fail a build in the preview release. Have I perhaps missed a setting to enable this, or is it simply not supported (yet)?

They can fail a build if invoked from the command line. In the preview, the custom analyzers are not passed to the compilers from as that requires work in the project system\msbuild that hasn't happened yet. So strictly the analyzers are not participating in the real build - they are only participating in the in-memory build. If you invoke csc from the command line and pass in /a:foo.dll and if that produces errors, then that would fail csc.
