Since Microsoft now offers open-source C# and VB compilers, I think they should license the language specifications too to make it obvious that others can legally implement the languages. I propose using the Open Specification Promise for this.

They already have, have a look in the following locations. C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Visual Studio 12.0\VB\Specifications\1033
C# C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Visual Studio 12.0\VC#\Specifications\1033

Not sure of the licence permits printing a copy though?

Grammar (VB10 and C#4)

Lucian is there and updated version of these available?
