I assume the VS 14 CTP contains newer build of Roslyn than is in the preview for VS 2013. Does it still make sense to discuss and report about the preview, or should we move to the CTP? Or will the preview for 2013 get updated to the CTP build of Roslyn?

Yes, the VS 14 CTP has a newer Roslyn build than the VS 2013 preview.

It would make our lives easier if you use the VS 14 CTP for discussion, but we'll certainly take feedback from the VS 2013 Preview as well.

We are not planning on updating the VS 2013 preview at this point. The IDE portions have taken a dependency on some changes that are only in the VS 2014 CTPs, and it would be a lot of work to support both. For two such examples, the support for the "Analyzers" node in Solution explorer is new in the VS 14 CTP, and we've moved the lightbulb implementation into the core editor so that other languages can take advantage of it.
