Roslyn as a portable class library

The compiler executables can't be portable, but is the goal that the compiler, workspace, analysis, diagnostics, code issues and refactorings - i.e. things that are driven by logic and data structures and don't read or write to disk without going through a platform-specific abstraction first - will eventually be portable?
