I downloaded the samples and SDK Preview, I got the above mentioned compile error. How do I fix it ?

I referenced the project using Nuget -Pre switch

Can you elaborate on exactly how you created the project, and what the code looks like now?

I downloaded SDK Preview from this page
https://connect.microsoft.com/VisualStudio/Downloads/DownloadDetails.aspx?DownloadID=52793

under samples folder, there is a sample called ConsoleClassifier in CSharp category

When you open the project, none of the references are recognized. When you copy the code in fresh windows console application and install Microsoft.CodeAnalysis -Pre

You get this error

Ok, I found the issue. I am being forced to pay money to Microsoft and upgrade to VS 2013. Currently have vs 2012.

Or maybe you just have to install MSBuild Tools 2013 or the Visual Studio "14" CTP3.

We no longer support VS2012. Our most current work all targets the Visual Studio "14" CTP. We did release a preview for VS 2013 at //Build/, but we haven't updated it since then.
